  1. Start out on US-290 W/TX-71 W.
  2. Continue  on TX-71 W.
  3. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto TX-16 N/TX-71 N/FORD ST. Continue to follow TX-16 N/TX-71 N.
  4. Turn LEFT onto TX-29/W YOUNG ST. Continue to follow TX-29/W.
  5. Turn LEFT onto US-377/TX-29. Continue to follow TX-29.
  6. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto FM 1311.
  7. Cross SAN SABA RIVER
  8. Turn RIGHT onto First Dirt Road.  (At Top of Hill)
  9. End at Smith I Bar Ranch.

From San Antonio:

  1. Start out on I-10 W/US-87 N.
  2. Merge onto US-87 N via EXIT 523 toward FREDERICKSBURG/SAN ANGELO.
  3. Turn LEFT onto US-290/US-87/E MAIN ST.
  4. Turn RIGHT onto US-87/US-87 N. Continue to follow US-87 N.
  5. Turn LEFT onto US-87 W/TX-29 W.
  6. Turn LEFT onto US-377/TX-29. Continue to follow TX-29.
  7. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto FM 1311.
  8. Cross SAN SABA RIVER
  9. Turn RIGHT onto First Dirt Road.  (At Top of Hill)
  10. End at Smith I Bar Ranch.

From Houston: 

  1. Start out on US-290 W to Austin
  2. Take US-290 W/TX-71 W out of Austin.
  3. Continue  on TX-71 W.
  4. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto TX-16 N/TX-71 N/FORD ST. Continue to follow TX-16 N/TX-71 N.
  5. Turn LEFT onto TX-29/W YOUNG ST. Continue to follow TX-29/W.
  6. Turn LEFT onto US-377/TX-29. Continue to follow TX-29.
  7. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto FM 1311.
  8. Cross SAN SABA RIVER
  9. Turn RIGHT onto First Dirt Road.  (At Top of Hill)
  10. End at Smith I Bar Ranch.

From Dallas:

  1. Start out on I-20W though Fort Worth
  2. Take US-377 S to Brady
  3. Turn RIGHT onto US-190.
  4. Turn Left onto FM 1311 S and travel 10 minutes
  5. Turn LEFT onto FM 1311/RR 1311. Continue to follow FM 1311.
  6. Look for Smith IBar Ranch sign on your left.
  7. Turn LEFT onto that Dirt Road.  (At Top of Hill)
  8. End at Smith I Bar Ranch.
